The AquaCera® W9512522 CeraPlus™ 9 in. Ceramic Filter Candle combines the highly efficient filtration properties of ceramics with the enhanced water treatment properties of granular activated, coconut shell carbon.  CeraPlus elements are designed for use with Aqua Cera gravity water filter systems.

AquaCera ceramic water filter elements start with the company´s Ceramic DE (diatomaceous earth) micro-filter. Advances in the ceramic filtration manufacturing process result in a more effective and efficient means of treating a wide range of waterborne contaminants. Ceramic elements are unique in that they are cleanable, when particulate build-up occurs on the surface, doubling the life of the filter as compared with other throw-away plastics. Ceramic elements are designed to remove suspended particles, they will not reduce TDS (Total Dissolved Solids).
