Intended Use:

The Traveler mini with its sleek, compact design is the smallest, lightest and easiest to pack SteriPEN for travel. Weighing just 103 grams/3.6 oz., the Traveler mini fits neatly into your checked luggage, carry-on or briefcase. It might be smaller, but you still get all the speed, power and effectiveness of larger SteriPENs.

The Traveler mini purifies a half-liter of water in 48 seconds, just like the bigger models – but all in a smaller, lighter device. The Traveler mini uses 2 CR123 disposable batteries (not included).
As a reminder, battery quality varies greatly by brand. We recommend using only well-known brand name Lithium batteries. Alkaline batteries of any kind are not recommended.
